When overseas customers choose a prototype factory, they usually conduct assessments based on three core dimensions, taking into account quality, efficiency, and cooperation trust:
1. Hard power and delivery guarantee capability
This is the fundamental prerequisite for cooperation, with a focus on examining three core competencies:
Production and technical capabilities: Whether there are professional prototype processing equipment such as CNC and 3D printing, whether there is an independent research and development design team, whether customized prototype needs can be undertaken, and whether the production process is supported by standardized process documents.
Supply chain stability: Whether it is the source factory and whether it can stably supply prototype raw materials to avoid delays in delivery due to material shortages.
Delivery fulfillment rate: Can production be strictly completed according to the order cycle, with a production plan achievement rate of no less than 95%, to ensure that the project progress of overseas customers is not affected.
2. Quality control and compliance capabilities
Overseas customers have strict requirements for product quality and compliance, with core assessment points including:
Quality management system: Whether it has passed international quality management certification such as ISO9001, whether it has established a full process quality inspection mechanism from raw material storage, process inspection to finished product delivery, and whether the first pass rate of products needs to reach 98% or more.
Compliance and environmental standards: Whether it complies with the environmental regulations of the export destination, such as the EU RoHS directive, to ensure that the prototype products are free of harmful ingredients.
Traceability: Whether production records and quality inspection reports are fully retained for at least 3 years, and the entire product process information can be traced at any time.
3. Customer service and comprehensive adaptability
Overseas cooperation places greater emphasis on long-term collaboration capabilities, with the main assessment being:
Full process response capability: Can we provide full cycle services from quotation, sampling to after-sales, including free design docking, real-time progress synchronization, and quick response to after-sales issues.
Customer feedback and reputation: Are there any benchmark overseas customer cooperation cases? Third party feedback can be used to understand their actual performance in product quality, delivery time and performance, and service attitude.
Ability to adapt to foreign trade: Familiar with international trade processes, able to cooperate in completing export related work such as customs declaration and document preparation, avoiding communication costs caused by unfamiliarity with processes.
